With more than 15 years’ experience in computer security and consulting under his belt, Colin is well placed to lead the charge against threats to our clients’ IT systems.
From a background of developing encryption and real-time software in the marine surveying industry, Colin has worked in diverse areas of system development and consulting, including holding senior positions in the National Bank, Sytec and the Risk Advisory Group.
Colin joined our firm as Security and Technology partner in 2011, but his relationship with PwC goes back much further. Before establishing an IT security and risk-management business in 2005, Securify NZ Ltd, Colin held a position as our senior TRS manager. When Securify NZ merged into PwC in 2011, his company was known as the mastermind behind a number of major security design and deployments including; an online lottery system, major electricity control systems, as well as a large number of advisory and oversight roles.
With Securify NZ’s merger into PwC, it means we can offer our clients risk and security services, but also the practical and proven skills to design, QA and deploy security, infrastructure and applications in a safe and independent way.
