Murray is a Partner in PwC Christchurch office, heading up Risk and Control Services for the South Island. He also practices in the general commercial advisory arena assisting a number of clients.

Murray has worked in over seventeen countries during the past decade and prior to joining PwC worked for both Mobil Corporation and within the Big Four both in New Zealand and internationally.

His roles have predominantly had governance, risk management, internal audit or a transaction focus. He has also spent a period of time as an investor having purchased, set-up and successfully exited businesses in the retail sector in New Zealand. Murray has a particular interest in Energy and Infrastructure given his experience internationally as well as a strong interest in business succession.

Currently Murray assists at the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology within the New Venture Planning Programme and also provides input on behalf of PwC to the Antarctic Heritage Trust.

Murray practices in the Energy and Infrastructure, Local Government, Tertiary Education and Co-operative sectors as well as assisting a number of SME clients in a range of sectors.
