Greg Doone

Greg Doone

Partner, PwC New Zealand

Greg cares deeply about New Zealand's competitiveness and believes that digital transformation of our industries is critical for continued prosperity. It’s what gets him up and going, and is what he has spent the last 20 years doing.

As part of Management Consulting, Greg helps organisations across New Zealand build better digital projects, services and business models to become more agile. His team has been behind several digital transformations in recent years across the government, financial, energy and tertiary sectors. Greg throws himself and his team wholeheartedly into this challenge, addressing the business, technology and experience issues that deliver lasting benefits.

Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Greg was the Managing Director of Collective London (a digital creative agency) and General Manager at Affinity ID (an analytics agency in Auckland). He has been a part of the digital industry since 1999, having also worked for companies such as Accenture and Tait Electronics.

Greg was a geek well before being a geek was ever considered cool. A love for science, 70’s prog rock and an encyclopaedic knowledge of Liverpool Football Club also means he is never likely to complete the second half of that equation. A career surrounded by interesting creative types must have rubbed off just enough, as he managed to marry his lovely Irish wife Bernadette and raise two surprisingly un-geeky children. Away from work Greg plays football, travels and is permanently banned from household DIY.
