Mark Russell

As an experienced tax adviser, Mark prides himself on providing solutions that are tailored to the unique requirements of his clients. He works extensively in the property sector, including for listed and unlisted property funds, privately held property vehicles, foreign institutions investing in New Zealand property, and retirement villages.

Mark is recognised as an expert in the taxation of investments, including investments in “PIE” funds and in offshore share investments subject to the “foreign investment fund” rules.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his children, and on Saturday mornings is often found on the sidelines coaching sports teams. He is also a passionate musician, and enjoys both listening to music and playing the guitar.
