Stephen loves helping clients to understand and resolve their accounting issues, navigating the complexity to achieve the best technical and commercial outcomes. He’s also passionate about building great working relationships with his clients and his team.
As a seasoned professional, Stephen brings significant breadth and depth of practical experience, totalling 25 years in three countries, supporting hundreds of clients from all sectors and industries. Stephen is recognised in the market as one of New Zealand’s leading accounting technical practitioners. His extensive practical experience dealing with various high pressure accounting situations, underpins his knowledge allowing him to readily access and deliver international expertise and resolve urgent client issues.
Outside of work Stephen likes spending time with his wife and two children, as well as his wider family and friends. He enjoys most outdoor activities, is a huge sports fan and runs to keep fit. Boating has also become a passion, ultimately leading him to build his own boat with his father.
