2012 started strongly with the New Zealand Government’s announcement of the NZ Inc China Strategy initiative on 3 February. Yet, the positive momentum was cut short by the noise surrounding the Crafar Farms decision, which signalled a false start to what many hoped would be a stronger and more consistent New Zealand/China relationship.
