Brett Johanson

In his 30-year career, Brett has become known for his complete and practical knowledge of financial markets, corporate treasury and governance areas, and has spent decades enhancing organisations' treasury functions.
Brett became Partner at PwC in 2012 after the acquisition of his high-profile business, Asia-Pacific Risk Management. Combined with his nine years as Head of Treasury and Risk Management at ANZ Investment Bank, he has spent an illustrious career advising New Zealand exporters, importers, borrowers and wholesale investors, specialising in New Zealand's local government sector and non-bank deposit takers.
With broad experience, Brett has worked extensively with private, local government and public-sector organisations across New Zealand. Some of the advice he's provided includes:

- funding, investment, interest and foreign exchange rate strategy advice.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys spending time with the family and getting into the great outdoors – whether that be tramping or mountain-bike riding.
