Geof is a tax partner and Financial Advisory Services Leader for PwC New Zealand. He is a member of our Executive Leadership Team, responsible for growing our business and deciding our direction in the marketplace.
Geof has worked with clients across a range of sectors including the energy, services, retail, property, forestry and Maori business sectors providing consulting, compliance and transaction services.
He has had a long involvement with the Government, Inland Revenue and Treasury in developing tax policy. He was a member of the CAANZ National Tax Committee for 11 years (including three years as Chair), a member of the Tax Working Group in 2009/10 and is currently a member of the Commissioner of Inland Revenue’s Transformation Reference Group.
In the community, Geof has chaired the Advisory Board to Victoria University’s School of Accounting and Commercial Law, as well as the Board of Trustees at Parnell District School and is currently a parent rider and volunteer with the Epsom Girls’ Grammar cycling squad. He also manages to find some spare time to ride his bike , chase around after his kids and – very occasionally – disappear into the bush.
