Each year, PwC’s Annual Global CEO Survey captures the issues at the top of the agenda for the world’s business community. As in past years, we deepened the research for PwC’s 19th Annual Global CEO Survey by including a range of interviews with senior decision makers in governmental organisations around the world, including New Zealand.
Our aim in doing so is to compare and contrast the views of business and government, understand the policy and delivery responses for the challenging conditions of today, and tomorrow, and contribute to greater understanding and stronger relationships between the public and private sectors. This year we found that new political, economic and social models are prompting different ways of doing business across the world. This report also explores confidence, concerns and opportunities for growth and, in particular, the distinctive views of CEOs of state-backed organisations.
