PwC strengthens export capabilities through acquisition

PwC New Zealand is growing its export capability through the acquisition of sales specialist practice MSM.

Brendan Catchpole, Partner at PwC New Zealand says: “MSM is an independent sales advisory practice that is well known and respected throughout Australia and New Zealand, particularly for its track record in more than 34 export markets.”

“We're pleased to announce our acquisition which will help to broaden PwC's footprint within the Export sector and reinforce the depth of our Private Business service offerings.”

MSM Managing Director, Dan Hansen, says the transaction will benefit both current and future clients across the MSM network.

“MSM has been a very successful sales advisory practice in its own right yet we feel comfortable that the structures of a large firm like PwC provides capability to enhance client services moving forward.

“The high quality level of service we currently deliver will remain our hallmark, but be ably supported by the strength of PwC’s network credentials," he says.

PwC officially acquired MSM on 1 July 2018.
