Jonathan is a Director in our Real Estate Team. He is an experienced property lawyer committed to creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with his clients by delivering top quality, practical legal advice.
As a specialist property lawyer, Jonathan has a deep understanding of real estate law, particularly leasing within the office, retail, industrial and film sectors. He assists clients with finance and security arrangements, due diligence and settlement of both acquisitions and disposals of land, and commercial and residential developments.
Jonathan's experience includes working with large institutional landlords and tenants, as well as assisting less experienced landlords and tenants. He has a particular focus on acting for and advising global and New Zealand investment companies and funds, and high net worth individual clients and Government entities and Council organisations.
Jonathan is an active member of the Auckland District Law Society Property Committee and is keen to promote the legal profession within the property sector.
Outside of work Jonathan enjoys spending time with his two children, cooking and socialising with friends and family and keeping up-to-date on his favourite sports events.
