Tiniya leads our Capital Markets Accounting Advisory practice and is passionate about providing high quality service that stakeholders can trust.
She is committed to building long-standing relationships with her clients, developing a deep understanding of their business strategies, and adding value by solving complex business problems.
She has extensive experience supporting clients through complex transactions, carve-outs, and Day 1 separation activities. She also brings hands-on experience working within large, listed finance environments, providing her with a practical, real-world perspective on finance transformation and decision-making in high-pressure situations. Tiniya combines deep technical expertise in financial reporting with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and governance frameworks, enabling her to navigate complex accounting challenges with clarity. She strikes the right balance between risk and commercial pragmatism to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.
Her experience has been gained through providing assurance and financial and sustainability reporting advice to a wide range of organisations, including large publicly listed entities with complex business structures as well as smaller privately owned companies. Given her assurance background, Tiniya is well connected to emerging international corporate reporting developments, regulatory expectations, and best practice. She provides meaningful insights to both management and Boards, helping large, complex groups manage financial and sustainability reporting challenges with confidence.
Tiniya is also passionate about the role of AI in finance, and how it can be embedded into services and organisations to drive smarter insights, efficiency, and greater value for clients.
Tiniya’s career with PwC began in 2000 as a graduate in South Africa. She joined the New Zealand firm in 2004 and has made an impact ever since.
Outside of work, Tiniya enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, horse riding, and growing fresh produce at home.
