Paul Nickels

Paul is a Chartered Accountant, with 28 years of professional services experience with PwC, across a range of industries, including financial services, retail, manufacturing and agribusiness. He currently serves as our Global Relationship Partner for international market leading organisations within the banking and agri sectors.

Paul is an accomplished commercial and strategic advisor who brings a unique breadth and depth of experiences, including operational leadership. He is known for his execution abilities, building high-performing teams, and navigating clients through major business and technology related transformations.

Paul has held a number of leadership roles within PwC, including Managing Partner of our Consulting business and our Risk & Regulatory business across the ASEANZ region. He brings extensive experience in the leadership and management of professional services businesses having served on our local and regional executive teams. He has played a key role in shaping new service lines and mentoring future leaders within the firm.

Paul cares deeply about NZInc. Paul Chairs the Advisory Board at the University of Auckland Business School and is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. Previously, Paul was the Deputy Chair of the Trust Board at St Cuthbert’s College for a period of 9 years. He actively supports community initiatives and is known for his commitment to leadership development, governance, and long-term value creation.
