PwC New Zealand has worked with CarbonScape, a Blenheim-based sustainable technology business, to help secure a USD$18 million investment. Stora Enso, Amperex Technology and other strategic partners have invested in CarbonScape and actively support their vision to enable the decarbonisation of the electric vehicle battery supply chain. This will be achieved through the use of its unique and sustainable biographite technology. This new round of investment will help CarbonScape to scale the technology and further expand their operations in Europe and the United States.
The PwC team was led by Director, Andrew Keenan and former Partner Amy Ellis, supported by Mitch Bloemberg and Peter White.
Andrew says, “We are proud to have worked with Ivan and the team on this important capital raise. CarbonScape’s technology has huge potential to make a positive global impact in helping decarbonise the battery industry and enabling a greener energy transition.
