Receivers and managers appointed to Du Val group

John Fisk, Stephen White and Lara Bennett of PwC New Zealand were appointed as receivers and managers of entities associated with the Du Val property development group (“Du Val”) on 2 August 2024.
Du Val is a developer of large-scale residential property projects in the Auckland area. The receivers’ appointment was made by the High Court on application of the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
The receivers are required to report to the Court within 10 working days of the appointment. A further update can be provided following this.
