Our scholarships

We have two types of scholarships to offer talented, driven students in New Zealand.

  • The PwC Scholarship. We support New Zealand students who are experiencing financial and/or personal hardship, so they can elevate and achieve their future goals and careers.
  • The Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu Scholarship. We offer multitude opportunities to our talented Māori rangatahi.

Don’t doubt and lose sight of the accomplishments you’ve made. Tell your stories and let the person you are—and have become—do the talking.

Riley Hunt | PwC Scholarship

Throughout life, we come across seeds. We either choose to walk past them or stop and nurture them. These seeds are opportunities, but they cannot flourish without effort. So, believe in your potential, work hard, and reach out for those opportunities when they come your way.

Stephanie Ly | PwC Scholarship

Time is the most valuable asset, often our ally, and sometimes our biggest enemy. Embrace every opportunity you come across and don't be afraid to take risks. The greatest risk is not taking any.

Joseph Hilawi | PwC Scholarship

There is no downside to trying. But if you don’t, you’ll always have the question, “What if I had applied?”

Simarjot Kaur | PwC Scholarship

Celebrate your failures. Think about the time you tried and failed and what you learned from it. Resilience, consistency, and the ability to bounce back are qualities that will prevail long after your studies.

Mason Robinson | Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu Scholarship

Success is more than just talent; it's about working hard, staying disciplined, and pushing yourself beyond what you believe yourself capable of.

Frequently Asked Questions

All eligible applications are carefully reviewed, which then will be shortlisted to be invited to an interview. Other applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application via email.

Transferring from one New Zealand tertiary institution to another will not affect your ongoing scholarship with PwC. However, you are required to inform us if and when you have made your transfer.

If you apply for more than one grant or scholarship associated with your tertiary study, acceptance of a PwC scholarship is dependent on a mutual agreement by PwC and other scholarship providers.

Generally, a PwC scholarship may not be accepted in conjunction with another corporate scholarship. A decision will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Scholarships at PwC are only open to students completing their final year of high school, including Year 12 students.

PwC is a multi-sector firm, providing service in various industries, markets, and practices to accomodate our clients' needs.
