Antonia believes that strategic and well-planned infrastructure investment creates lasting social, economic and environmental benefits for communities. It can shape and connect places and improve wellbeing and opportunities for a cross-section of society. She is passionate about making sure that infrastructure, and the process of delivering it, is optimised, efficient, considers a range of stakeholders and takes a long-term perspective.
Antonia finds innovative and practical fit-for-purpose solutions for complex situations. As a Partner in PwC New Zealand’s Deals team, she advises on developing strategy and governance, and financial and commercial structures for infrastructure. She also has experience in business separation, M&A, due diligence, embedding improved cash forecasting, independent reviews and restructuring. With over 15 years' experience providing a broad range of commercial and strategic advice for public and private sector clients in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and continental Europe, she brings a multi-faceted mindset to solving problems.
Antonia has been extensively involved in local and central government projects and is accomplished in setting up governance and commercial structures that support complex projects. She enjoys the challenge of developing solutions that are equitable, consider affordability and delivered in a way that have broader sustained outcomes. She has a naturally collaborative style and is known for her ability to bring stakeholders together in sensitive situations to enable optimised decision making.
In her spare time, Antonia enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and cooking, eating and drinking with whānau and friends.
