Rod Tapp is an Executive Director in the Private business team of the PwC Auckland office.
He thrives on working closely with clients to help them achieve their ambitions while managing the financial and emotional risks inherent in business. Rod’s clients are predominantly privately owned and managed businesses but extend to charitable organisations and corporates. Recognising that business owners are enthusiastic, driven and motivated, he relishes contributing to the growth of their businesses. He has a strong focus on working with clients to ensure they get personal satisfaction and rewards from their business ventures.
With over 30 years experience advising a diverse range of clients, Rod develops effective, creative, and robust solutions for complex business problems. His specialties include accounting and tax compliance, business management and growth, forecasting and business plans, structuring, and succession planning. He has a particular interest in industrial and consumer products. Rod is the National Risk Management Leader for our Financial Advisory Services Team (Tax and Private Business) which is a focus he brings to clients to help them to predict and manage risks.
