Stephen enjoys working with his clients to find solutions that maximise and preserve value for key stakeholders in challenging situations.
As a Partner in PwC New Zealand's Business Restructuring Services practice, Stephen regularly advises companies suffering cash flow or profitability pressures, undergoing change or looking to execute a rapid transaction. He also has experience working on formal insolvencies and providing contingency planning advice to key stakeholders of distressed businesses.
Stephen has over 17 years’ business and commercial advisory experience with PwC, both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom, and while a restructuring specialist at heart, he has worked across the spectrum of PwC's Deals offerings, including M&A and Transaction Services. Through these assignments, Stephen has gained significant experience in scrutinising business plans and forecasts from company, lender and shareholder perspectives, ensuring they are robust and fit for purpose.
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys running and spending time with his wife and their three children.
