Partner, PwC New Zealand
Andrew is focused on combining deep technical knowledge, global relationships, and innovation in order to solve important problems clients are facing. He leverages automation and harnesses data to create value for his clients.
Based in PwC's Auckland office, Andrew has been supporting clients across the Asia Pacific region for the past 12 years and has a particular focus on financial instrument valuations. He currently performs upwards of 800,000 valuations each year which requires a high level of automation and innovation. He is also an expert in complex valuation methods, including how to capture the valuation impact of collateralisation, funding, and credit risk on derivative portfolios.
Andrew has significant experience in related fields, including supporting financial institutions to manage appropriate capital amounts, and supporting clients when implementing new financial instrument valuation systems.
Andrew spends most of his time outside of work with his wife Sarah, and their three young children. This typically involves finding new beaches to explore, visiting grandparents, or travelling.
