Chief Risk Officer and Partner, PwC New Zealand
As Chief Risk Officer, Anthony is responsible for overseeing PwC New Zealand’s quality management practices and risk profile, including risk management, regulation and compliance, and business continuity.
Anthony also leads PwC New Zealand’s Cyber and Digital Trust practice, drawing on his deep experience helping clients to successfully identify and navigate technology risks and opportunities through clear, practical advice.
Anthony’s expertise includes providing transformation confidence to organisations undergoing significant systems change, undertaking cyber security and other targeted IT risk assessments, helping clients prioritise technology remediation activities and developing roadmaps, resilience (including disaster recovery and business continuity planning), and IT function and capability assessments.
Anthony’s expertise spans a wide range of critical areas, including instilling transformation confidence in organisations undergoing major systems changes. He specialises in conducting cybersecurity and targeted IT risk assessments, as well as assisting clients in prioritising technology remediation activities, and developing comprehensive roadmaps. His skills extend to enhancing organisational resilience through disaster recovery and business continuity planning, as well as evaluating IT functions and capabilities to drive improvement.
Anthony’s experience has been gained over the last 21 years through working with a very wide range of organisations in Aotearoa New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. His clients include large infrastructure providers, telecommunications, IT service providers and public sector organisations.
Anthony previously led the Internal Audit Function of PwC New Zealand, and was the Risk and Quality leader for the Risk Services team.
