Chief Markets Officer and Infrastructure Leader, PwC New Zealand
As Chief Markets Officer and Infrastructure Leader, Carl applies his extensive transactional and fund management expertise across property, infrastructure, government and utilities.
Prior to PwC, Carl was responsible for the direct investment functions at ACC, covering non-public market activity including direct property, direct infrastructure, private equity and public private partnerships.
Carl also spent 16 years at First NZ Capital with coverage responsibility for utilities, government and property coverage, as well as six years at the New Zealand Treasury with a later focus on privatisations.
Carl is the Chair of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel and a member of the Australian Takeovers Panel. He is a former Director of Kiwi Group Holdings Limited and a former Trustee of the NZ Hockey Foundation.
Carl is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Commerce from Canterbury University.
Carl continues to play hockey and is an active supporter of his children’s sporting and extra curricular activities.
