Julian Prior
Chief Financial Officer, PwC New Zealand
As a Partner and Chief Financial Officer, Julian is responsible for all aspects of financial strategy, planning and operations. He sits on the firm's Executive Leadership Team.
Formally an audit partner and having held senior finance positions with large multinational companies, Julian has worked with Boards and management teams across the world. He has a deep understanding of what makes companies successful, how to successfully develop and execute strategy, the importance of collaboration with customers and wider business partners and the important role Boards play in governing and managing strategy and risk.
Julian also holds governance roles as a Director of PwC’s Global Service Delivery Centre in Manila. The Centre employs over 1,000 people and plays a critical role in delivering services to PwC territories throughout Asia Pacific and the U.S. Closer to home he is Chair of Youthline, one of New Zealand’s most recognised charities, helping to grow and support young people and their communities.
In his spare time Julian enjoys playing with the kids, beekeeping and cycling.
