Richard Nacey

Richard works with his clients to find solutions and navigate complex challenges through restructuring work across the country. 

As a Partner and leader of our Wellington Business Restructuring Services team, Richard brings deep experience in business recovery and restructuring. His specialist skills are called upon by clients particularly in times of uncertainty, where he works closely with management teams to deliver rapid and tangible outcomes. This involves getting to grips with complex situations quickly, making rapid assessments of key priorities, and bringing a level of rigour and challenge to deliver both cash and cost improvements, stability, and ultimately a turnaround. In addition, Richard helps financial institutions to carry out business appraisals and short term cash flow reviews, and he provides contingency planning advice. 

Richard’s broad restructuring experience includes various formal appointments in New Zealand as well as time in London during the GFC, working as a business recovery specialist advising lenders and large corporates. Richard is a member of CA ANZ and a Licenced Insolvency Practitioner.
