Director, Information Conscience Practice Leader, PwC New Zealand
Robyn is passionate about the human impact of our use of technology and information. She is particularly interested in privacy, as it delivers a key measure of how organisations are managing information in line with people’s expectations.
Because of this, Robyn’s focus is on ‘information conscience’, those things that help organisations protect the information they hold - whether it’s to support key business operations, manage strategic security risks, protect privacy, avoid incidents or protect the integrity of key systems. To achieve this, Robyn works closely alongside her clients to understand what is most important to them. She uses this insight to help tailor solutions that achieve the right balance between information protection and using information for business outcomes.
Robyn is a Director in the Cyber Security and Privacy practice at PwC. She has over 17 years of experience supporting her clients to govern and manage difficult business problems. Robyn has developed a multi-disciplinary practice in the areas of IT, cyber security, privacy and risk.
Robyn has a unique range of experience including working across a wide variety of organisations, from large and complex to small, community-focussed. She works across the cyber and privacy disciplines at a governance level and has undertaken a range of projects that cover areas such as security and privacy strategy, information risk, operating models, incident response, security, privacy and assurance frameworks, and has also considered information protection legislation.
Robyn wants to see information protection improve in organisations, not just for the efficiency gains in how information is used, but for the difference it makes to each of us.
