Simon enjoys working with management teams to develop and deliver major strategic investment decisions for their organisations. He has a deep understanding of how to unlock strategic value, and what is required to deliver the right outcomes. 

Where organisations are making important strategic decisions, Simon is experienced in helping to frame their thinking, so they can make considered commitments to where they want to go in the future. As a partner in the PwC New Zealand Deals team, he has significant expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Finance and the Energy & Utilities sectors. Simon has advised on large M&A, commercial infrastructure and development projects, as well as assisting clients on building growth strategies and managing complex portfolios. 

Simon also provides strategic, risk and valuation advice to many clients. His involvement with regional and global thought leadership groups allows him to provide his clients with strategic ideas, new perspectives and insights from around the world to help them deliver on their own goals. 

Outside of work Simon enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He plays an active role in local community activities, including being a member of Komiti Pasifika at Victoria University of Wellington and a committee member (and coach) for the Karori Junior Hockey Club.
