Vasana Vanpraseuth

Vasana is focussed on building trusted relationships with her clients and the role of the auditor in quality and informative financial reporting. She is based in our Auckland office and provides audit and assurance services to a wide range of clients specialising in the financial services sector, including insurance, asset management - funds, superannuation, real estate, and finance companies. 

Her work has taken her to various locations across the PwC Network including London, providing audit services to insurance and investment management clients and more recently to New York where she was in PwC’s Global Assurance Risk and Quality Group focusing on risk and quality management of the PwC Network.  Through these roles she has strong global PwC Network connections to bring the best of herself and PwC to her clients. 

Vasana is passionate about audit quality and transparency and has played an integral role in PwC New Zealand’s journey towards greater transparency, including the recently released first Transparency Report 2020. 

As PwC New Zealand’s first female Asian audit partner, Vasana is very focussed on mentorship of her teams and helping to further strengthen diversity and inclusion at PwC.  

Outside of work, Vasana loves spending quality time with her husband, two daughters and her wider family eating, cooking and travelling together.
