RBNZ Interim Solvency Standard

Potential implications and considerations for New Zealand insurers

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) has released its final interim solvency standards (ISS) following feedback on the previous review and draft versions. The ISS comes into force from 1 January 2023. What should New Zealand insurers be considering ahead of this change? 

This latest report looks at the key changes outlined from RBNZ, including:

  • changes that have been made since the ISS review version
