PwC's Napier office lies at the heart of Hawke’s bay, situated on the beautiful coast and in one of the warmest, driest climates anywhere in New Zealand.
Napier is one of our country’s most interesting and unique cities. Almost destroyed by an earthquake in 1931, Napier was rebuilt in art deco style – something residents proudly celebrate every year with Art Deco Weekend.
At other times throughout the year, Napier hosts one of the most sensational Matariki celebrations, and is home to both New Zealand’s oldest winery and farmers’ markets. As you can probably guess, food and drink is central on the east coast.
From PwC’s Napier office, you’ll have a bird’s eye view of the local economy, and can expect a diverse portfolio of clients in the horticulture, viticulture, forestry, hospitality, tourism and rural sectors.
You may spend your work day helping to improve our country’s huge dairy businesses, supporting the world-class wine industry or overseeing capital expenditure for the thriving tourism sector. From this hub of activity, you’ll have constant variety in your role, as you continue to develop your career.
And when weekend comes, you can grab a bite to eat and relax over a bottle of locally produced, world-class wine.
