Tineka is of Ngāti Kahungunu, Tūwharetoa, Maniapoto, Tainui and Te Atihaunui-ā-Pāpārangi descent.
Tineka re-joined PwC ‘s Private Business Team in 2012 after spending approximately five years overseas. Tineka supports our Māori sector Lead Partner in the delivery of PwC’s Rautaki Māori as well as supporting our Manukura Hawke’s Bay Partner in the delivery of Māori sector compliance, tax and advisory engagements for this tari.
Tineka’s passion lies in assisting Māori to manage their resources for the betterment of future generations while achieving their economic, social, cultural and environmental goals and aspirations. Tineka believes in the power of building a successful relationship collaboratively.
Tineka has over 15 years of experience in both practice and commercial environments of which she has accumulated both in New Zealand and overseas.
Her experience includes the provision of advisory services such as funding applications, strategic and business planning, policy development, workshop facilitation, assessing elements of a Māori responsiveness framework and accounting, finance function and tax compliance services.
